Crime can occur anytime - anyplace. Crime does not know any boundaries. Sometimes people get a false sense of security; they believe they cannot be the victim of crime. People need to be aware of what is going on around them, take precautions and safeguards that reduce the risk of becoming a victim.
- Keep vehicles locked
- Do not walk alone, especially at night
- Request an escort from security
- Do not leave valuables unattended
- Report suspicious activities to security/law enforcement
At the start of the quarter, the Security Office provides safety awareness information during new student orientation.
