The College will publish Emergency Procedures that include types of emergencies that may occur on campus, describe the steps to take for each emergency, and provide contact information for reporting.  The College will facilitate emergency response drills and/or training for employees and students that promote understanding and proper implementation of emergency response steps.

Professors will include a web link in their course syllabi and/or Learning Management System webpage to the College’s published Emergency Procedures which includes types of emergencies that may occur on campus, describes the steps to take for each emergency, and provides contact information for reporting.  Professors and students should become familiar with this plan, particularly for events that relate to or impact one’s safety and regular classroom environment while on campus.  Professors are encouraged to discuss plans with students in order to promote understanding and proper implementation of emergency response steps in particular classrooms.
